Workflow and shortcuts
What does QuickSFX Pro do?
It lets you assign sounds from your own library to keyboard slots, preview them, and place the assigned sound on the Premiere Pro timeline with a key press.
Which keys can place an assigned sound?
Use either the number row above the letter keys or the numeric keypad. The matching slot triggers the assigned sound.
How many sound slots are available?
There are four banks with nine slots each. The number row supports 1–9 for slots and 0, while the keypad uses its number keys. Use 0, the keypad dot, or Enter to switch banks.
How do I open Quick Search?
Press Alt + Space in Premiere Pro to open the floating search window. You can search, preview, assign, or add a sound; Enter adds the selected sound and Esc closes the window.
Can I pause QuickSFX Pro’s hotkeys temporarily?
Yes. Hold Caps Lock to pause the hotkeys temporarily. Release it to resume.
Can I preview, trim, or change the volume of a sound?
Yes. Preview a sound, set the portion you want to use, and adjust its level before assigning it. Each key assignment keeps its own saved audio level.
Libraries and files
Are sound effects included?
No. QuickSFX Pro uses your own sound files; a sound-effects or music library is not bundled with the license.
Can I use different folders and audio formats?
QuickSFX Pro can browse folders and import supported audio files. Exact format support can depend on the file’s encoding; check the current installation notes if a specific file does not appear.
Where does the sound cache appear?
Cached audio is kept in the cache area, separate from the original library listing. Your source files stay in their own folders.
Compatibility and license
Which platform and Premiere Pro versions are supported?
The current edition is for Windows and Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 or later. A macOS edition is not currently offered.
How many computers can use one standard license?
A standard license supports up to two computers for your own use. The license is a one-time purchase with no scheduled expiry; see the Terms of Use for the full conditions.
Is QuickSFX Pro available to purchase right now?
