QuickSFX Pro Privacy Notice

This notice explains how SamarShop handles information to operate the QuickSFX Pro website, licensing, and support.

1. Who is responsible

Bibek Singh, operating QuickSFX Pro under the SamarShop brand, is responsible for personal information processed directly to provide the product. The stated location is Barahathawa, Sarlahi, Nepal. For privacy questions, contact [email protected] or WhatsApp +977 9869057671 (messages only; no calls) · @hellosamarshop. Where Paddle processes checkout or buyer support, it also handles information under its own privacy notice and role as merchant of record.

2. Information used

3. What the app keeps locally

Your sound-library paths, panel settings, favorites, assignments, and related workflow data are stored on your Windows computer. The app reads audio from the locations you select. The license service does not receive your audio files or library contents.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

We use purchase and device information to confirm an order, issue and deliver a key, activate and recheck the license, and apply the two-computer limit. Where applicable, this is necessary to perform the purchase and license agreement. We use limited security and support information to protect the service, prevent abuse, and respond to requests; where privacy law requires a legal basis, this is based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure software service, balanced against your rights. We retain limited transaction records when needed to meet applicable legal or accounting obligations and to handle disputes. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it. An email address and order reference are needed to deliver or support a license; without them, we may be unable to complete those services.

5. Service providers, disclosures, and transfers

Information is shared as needed with Paddle for checkout, payments, and buyer support; Cloudflare for website hosting, Web Analytics, the licensing API, and database hosting; Brevo for transactional license email; Google when your browser requests Google Fonts; and YouTube when you activate the embedded video. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. They may process information in countries other than where you live. International-transfer rules and safeguards vary by provider and jurisdiction. For current details, see each provider's privacy notice and data-processing terms, or contact us to ask about safeguards relevant to the services we use. We do not sell customer personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the service or users, or to resolve a payment dispute.

6. License-key security and retention

The server stores a one-way hash for license verification. The transactional email contains the key as selectable text. To retry failed email delivery and continue honoring secure retrieval links sent with earlier emails, the service stores the customer email, transaction references, delivery status, and an encrypted copy of the license key. A minimized webhook payload is held while processing or an automatic retry is needed; after successful processing, the payload is erased while its event ID and type remain for duplicate protection. License and device records are needed to honor a license that has no scheduled expiry and enforce its two-computer limit, so those records are retained while the license remains active. Transaction and adjustment references may also be needed to handle refunds, chargebacks, security issues, and legal or accounting obligations. A daily cleanup task is configured to remove a closed license's customer email, Paddle customer ID, encrypted license key and email-delivery record, and stored device identifiers and activation history 12 months after refund or revocation; production execution of this cleanup has not yet been verified. Records marked with a chargeback adjustment are excluded from that automated cleanup and may be retained as needed to resolve the dispute or meet legal and accounting requirements. Minimal license and transaction references, status, and payment-adjustment records may remain for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting needs.

7. Your rights and requests

You may contact [email protected] to ask about your information, request access or correction, request deletion or restriction, object where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. These rights depend on the law that applies and may have exceptions. We may need to retain limited records to keep a purchased license working, process a payment dispute, or meet legal obligations. Paddle handles requests about payment details through Paddle buyer support. If GDPR applies to you, you may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights.

8. Children, security, and changes

QuickSFX Pro is professional editing software and is not designed for children. We use transport security and access controls for service data, and encrypt stored license keys; no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this notice when the service changes and will show the revised date here.
