QuickSFX Pro for Windows

Installation guide

Use this guide when installing QuickSFX Pro or if Windows shows a security prompt.

Before you install

  1. Download the installer from the official QuickSFX Pro Downloads page.
  2. Compare the installer’s SHA-256 value with the value published on that same release page. If they do not match, do not open the file; delete it and contact [email protected].
  3. Open the verified installer and follow its on-screen steps. Close Premiere Pro before installing or updating the extension.

If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”

QuickSFX Pro’s Windows installer does not currently have a Windows-trusted code-signing certificate. Windows may therefore show an unknown-publisher or SmartScreen warning. This prompt is about the installer’s publisher reputation; it is not proof by itself that a file is safe or unsafe.

Proceed only if you obtained the file from the official SamarShop Downloads page, the SHA-256 value matches exactly, and Microsoft Defender has not reported a threat. If those checks pass and you choose to continue, select More info, review the displayed app details, then select Run anyway if Windows offers that option.

If the hash differs, Defender reports a threat, the displayed file details look unexpected, or Windows does not offer the option to proceed, cancel the installation and contact support. Do not turn off Defender or other security protections to install the product.

After installation

Open Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 or later and load the QuickSFX Pro panel. Enter the license key delivered to your purchase email when prompted. For help, contact [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp @hellosamarshop.
